The sculpture at the top of the picture below was found in Stark County, Ohio. It is a sculpture of the sun god Bel. The Afro hair style symbolizes radiant energy according to Fell’s book “America B.C.”
As of the time that Fell’s book was published, the year 1976, a sculpture similar to the ones below that was found in New England was housed in the Peabody Museum in Salem, Massachusetts.
